This QiGong class is dedicated to the practice of fostering health, vitality and longevity through gentle, flowing movement and meditation. Certified Qigong Teacher, Claude Larson will guide you through simple yet effective practices designed to enhance everything from the function of your vital organs and bones to the expansion of your life-force energy, known as Chi or Qi. These ancient practices are designed to cultivate wellbeing through relaxed activity and meditation. Qigong students can expect to notice improvements in their balance, flexibility, range of motion, reduced stress and increased mental clarity. Peaceful meditation, seated and standing movement and how to build resilience through nutrition are the focus of the qigong principles. Special topics and strategies for managing seasonal changes are also discussed. The exercises offered are accessible to all ages and fitness levels and require no special equipment.
